  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted, divided)

  2. Place a potato between two chopsticks or skewers to prevent cutting all the way through. Slice vertical slits about ⅛ inch apart.
  3. Arrange potatoes in a baking dish and brush with half of the melted butter.

  5. Bake for 30 minutes, then brush with remaining butter and bake for another 30-35 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
